Service Description
COMPLETE THE FORM BELOW TO SCHEDULE THIS CLASS. This instructor-led skills session is the hands-on portion of the American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED blended-learning course. It is designed for participants who have already completed the required online coursework. During the in-person session, participants will practice and demonstrate the skills introduced in the online course. This registration is for the hands-on skills session only. It does not include the online course. SKILLS PRACTICED AND EVALUATED Skills may include: • First aid fundamentals • Response to medical, injury, and environmental emergencies • Illness and injury prevention • Adult CPR and AED use • Response to opioid-associated emergencies • Child CPR, child AED use, and infant CPR when included in the selected course WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE? This course is designed for individuals with little or no medical training who need a course completion card for employment, workplace, regulatory, or other requirements. It is also appropriate for anyone who wants to be prepared to respond during an emergency. BEFORE ATTENDING Participants must complete the AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED online course before attending the skills session and provide their online course completion certificate. Please note that registration covers the in-person practice and skills-testing session only. Access to the online course is not included unless otherwise stated. COURSE COMPLETION After successfully completing both the online coursework and in-person skills session, participants will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course completion eCard valid for two years.
Cancellation Policy
STUDENT CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING We understand that plans can change. To cancel or reschedule your registration, please use the Manage Booking link included in your confirmation email or contact us at least 24 hours before the scheduled start of your class. Cancellations and rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the class, as well as failure to attend, are not eligible for a refund. For blended-learning courses, fees associated with online course materials may be nonrefundable once the materials or access link have been issued. CANCELLATIONS OR SCHEDULE CHANGES BY THE TRAINING PROVIDER If we need to cancel a class, registered students will be notified as soon as possible and may choose to transfer their registration to another available date or receive a full refund. If we need to reschedule a class, registered students will be notified of the new date and time. If the new schedule does not work for a student, they may transfer their registration to another available class or request a full refund. We are not responsible for additional expenses resulting from a class cancellation or schedule change, including travel, lodging, childcare or lost wages. Classes are offered at scheduled training locations throughout Colorado Springs. The exact location is provided during registration.
