These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the 2nd Life website and the registration, purchase, and participation in classes or training services offered by 2nd Life.
By using this website or registering for a class, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Registration and Payment
Registration is not confirmed until all required information and payment have been received.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate contact and participant information during registration. Class information, pricing, availability, and schedules are subject to change.
Course Requirements
Students are responsible for reviewing all prerequisites, course descriptions, age requirements, preparation instructions, and required materials before registering.
Some classes may require students to complete online coursework before attending an in-person skills session. Proof of completion may be required. Students who do not complete the required coursework may be unable to participate and may need to register and pay for another session.
Attendance and Participation
Students must arrive on time and remain for the complete class. Late arrivals may not be admitted if the required instructional content has already begun.
Students must follow all instructor directions and behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and other participants. 2nd Life reserves the right to remove anyone whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, inappropriate, or prevents the class from continuing effectively. Removal for these reasons does not qualify for a refund.
Participants should inform the instructor before class of any physical limitation, medical concern, injury, or accommodation request that may affect their ability to participate safely.
Certification
Course completion or registration does not automatically guarantee certification.
Students must attend the required portions of the class, demonstrate the necessary skills, complete any written assessments, and satisfy all requirements established by the applicable certifying organization.
Certification cards, completion documents, and processing times may be controlled by third-party certifying organizations. 2nd Life cannot guarantee employment, licensing, professional qualification, or acceptance of a certification by a particular employer or organization.
Online and Third-Party Materials
Some online or hybrid courses may include materials, access codes, digital content, or services provided by third parties.
Students are responsible for having a compatible device, reliable internet access, and the ability to access required online materials. Third-party access codes and digital materials are nonrefundable once issued or accessed.
Third-party platforms, content, and certification requirements may be subject to their own terms, policies, and availability.
Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds
All registrations are subject to the 2nd Life Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted using the contact information provided on this website. Notifying an instructor informally does not guarantee that a cancellation or rescheduling request has been received or approved.
If 2nd Life must cancel a class, registered students may transfer to another available date or receive a refund.
Minors
A parent or legal guardian must register participants who are under 18 and provide any required authorization or consent.
The parent or legal guardian is responsible for reviewing the course description and determining whether the class is appropriate for the minor participant.
Website Use
The information on this website is provided for general informational and registration purposes. Website content is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, emergency assistance, or treatment.
Users may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt to access restricted areas, submit false information, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
Intellectual Property

The terms in effect at the time of registration will apply to that registration unless a change is required by law or by the applicable certifying organization.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
