COMPLETE THE FORM BELOW TO REQUEST THIS COURSE. Learn essential first aid skills on your own schedule with this flexible American Red Cross online course. Designed for parents, teachers, teenagers, troop leaders, coaches, and other community members, the course prepares participants to provide basic care during an emergency until medical professionals arrive. WHAT TO EXPECT The course uses interactive online modules to explain essential first aid techniques and how to respond when someone is injured or experiencing an emergency. Participants can begin the coursework after registration, complete the modules at their own pace, and revisit the material whenever they need a refresher. COURSE INFORMATION • Format: 100% online • Schedule: Self-paced • Availability: Begin the course after registration • Course access: Unlimited access to course materials for two years • Device requirements: A compatible computer or tablet and web browser • Experience: Interactive modules that can be completed in a flexible order IMPORTANT CERTIFICATION NOTICE This online-only course does not include an opportunity to demonstrate first aid skills to a certified instructor. Because hands-on skills are not evaluated, the course may not satisfy workplace safety certification requirements. Participants who need a workplace credential should register for a blended-learning or instructor-led course that includes hands-on skills practice and evaluation.
Cancellation Policy
STUDENT CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING We understand that plans can change. To cancel or reschedule your registration, please use the Manage Booking link included in your confirmation email or contact us at least 24 hours before the scheduled start of your class. Cancellations and rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the class, as well as failure to attend, are not eligible for a refund. For blended-learning courses, fees associated with online course materials may be nonrefundable once the materials or access link have been issued. CANCELLATIONS OR SCHEDULE CHANGES BY THE TRAINING PROVIDER If we need to cancel a class, registered students will be notified as soon as possible and may choose to transfer their registration to another available date or receive a full refund. If we need to reschedule a class, registered students will be notified of the new date and time. If the new schedule does not work for a student, they may transfer their registration to another available class or request a full refund. We are not responsible for additional expenses resulting from a class cancellation or schedule change, including travel, lodging, childcare or lost wages. Classes are offered at scheduled training locations throughout Colorado Springs. The exact location is provided during registration.
