Service Description
COMPLETE THE FORM BELOW TO REQUEST THIS COURSE. ASHI CPR Pro prepares healthcare professionals and professional rescuers to provide basic life support during life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest, breathing emergencies, and choking. WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE? This course is designed for individuals in healthcare or professional rescue roles who need professional-level Basic Life Support training. Participants should confirm that their employer or licensing organization accepts this specific course before registering. WHAT YOU’LL LEARN • Chain of Survival • Personal safety during emergency response • Patient assessment • High-quality chest compressions • Rescue breathing using a CPR mask or bag-mask device • Recovery positioning • CPR for an unresponsive person who is not breathing normally and has no pulse • Automated external defibrillator (AED) use and troubleshooting • Team-based emergency response • Relief of choking • Emotional considerations following an emergency IMPORTANT CERTIFICATION INFORMATION This is an ASHI course, not an American Heart Association course. If your employer specifically requires an AHA BLS Provider credential, please register for the AHA BLS course instead. Daycare providers and preschool teachers should confirm their pediatric training requirements before registering. A separate Pediatric First Aid and CPR course may be required. COURSE COMPLETION Participants who successfully complete all course requirements will receive a course completion credential valid for two years.
Cancellation Policy
STUDENT CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING We understand that plans can change. To cancel or reschedule your registration, please use the Manage Booking link included in your confirmation email or contact us at least 24 hours before the scheduled start of your class. Cancellations and rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the class, as well as failure to attend, are not eligible for a refund. For blended-learning courses, fees associated with online course materials may be nonrefundable once the materials or access link have been issued. CANCELLATIONS OR SCHEDULE CHANGES BY THE TRAINING PROVIDER If we need to cancel a class, registered students will be notified as soon as possible and may choose to transfer their registration to another available date or receive a full refund. If we need to reschedule a class, registered students will be notified of the new date and time. If the new schedule does not work for a student, they may transfer their registration to another available class or request a full refund. We are not responsible for additional expenses resulting from a class cancellation or schedule change, including travel, lodging, childcare or lost wages. Classes are offered at scheduled training locations throughout Colorado Springs. The exact location is provided during registration.
